When Mike & I started going out together, we worked at the Hospital.

This day there was a 3 legged race. my partner was my Nurse Tutor. who

said he was going to wear Cricket Whites, I made myself a Flapper outfit

complete with headband & feathers, The rave started. running from the local

pub The Sun Dial to the Hospital Social club. with a drink at each end,

At the time Joe was on the E,N,T, ward. as Graham & I went passed the window

we waved & shouted "Hiya Joe" after a while all runners were also waving

& shouting.     The race finished. Mike said to meet him in the Social club.

as I walked in Graham shouted for me to go & sit with him till Mike

finished his shift at 10pm, Very drunk & dishevelled I sat down. then this

Lady tapped me on the shoulder and said "hello I'm Michaels Mother"!!!!

Thanks Graham.... not the best way to meet your new chaps mum. but

later we could laugh about it, to remind me I bought an ornament of

a Flapper lady,
